Data collection

This website only collects personal data when you provide it voluntarily.

We do not use cookies for tracking. If you subscribe to our newsletter or send us a coaching enquiry, we process the details you provide for that purpose.

Coaching enquiries

The coaching form emails us your name, email address, enquiry, time zone and availability. We handle the enquiry in our email inbox and do not additionally store it in the website database. You are not subscribed to the newsletter.

The form uses a technically necessary CSRF cookie to protect against unauthorised form submissions. To limit repeated requests, a cryptographically derived key based on the IP address or, if unavailable, the email address is temporarily stored in the cache for one minute. In the coaching section, we use Umami to measure page views, progression to the enquiry form and successful submissions. Form field contents are not sent to Umami.

Website analytics

We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand and improve the use of our website. Umami does not collect personal data, does not use cookies and respects visitors’ privacy. Data is collected in anonymised, aggregated form.

Legal basis: Processing is based on our legitimate interest in analysing website usage (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Newsletter subscription

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. It is transferred to and stored by our email provider ConvertKit (ConvertKit LLC, 113 Cherry St #92768, Seattle, WA 98104-2205, USA).

Legal basis: Your email address is processed on the basis of your voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in each newsletter or contacting us directly. After withdrawal, your email address will be deleted from ConvertKit.

Server log files

When you access this website, server log files are created automatically and may contain the following technical information:

  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
